Since the Iranians invented wine over 4,000 years ago, men have been encouraging their dates and wives to drink wine. Never has more been written about wine than in the last 20 years. More books have been written in that time period than in the previous 4000 years together.
Scientists have also been very active in testing wine's effects on health. Many studies have shown that wine, especially red wine, has a healthy impact on cardiological issues.
Now, a new study has been released showing that women who moderately consume wine regularly, again particularly red wine, gain less weight as they age, than women who do not drink wine. This discovery, in my opinion, is some of the best news since Eve bit into her apple. Attached please read an article from Wine Spectator on line.
